THE TRADITION

Lucia

In the darkest weeks of the Swedish year, Lucia arrives with a crown of candles and a song almost every Swede knows by heart. We bring her to Manhattan, along with a three-course lunch inspired by the Julbord, served at the table.

Since 1987, SACCNY has honored the people and companies that move trade and ideas between Sweden and the United States, in the spirit of peace through trade. Thirty have received it. The 31st stays sealed until the moment it's presented.
