SACCNY Announces Skyline Acceleration Program 2024 Cohort

The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, New York (SACCNY), the Swedish Energy Agency (Sw. Energimyndigheten), and Build Edison are delighted to announce the companies selected for the 2024 Skyline Acceleration Program. This program is specifically designed for Swedish SMEs with climate and energy innovations in the real estate and construction sectors. It provides companies with the essential tools and insights for a successful entry into the U.S. market.

The cohort of selected companies for the 2024 Skyline program are: 3E flow, Brinja, Ecoclime Group, Energy Save, KTC, Modio Facility Assets, NODA Intelligent Systems, and Vyer.com.

New York is striving to reach carbon neutrality by 2050. This objective is demonstrated by the implementation of Local Law 97, which aims at reducing greenhouse gas emissions from buildings, the largest source of emissions in the city. The increasing demand for innovative climate solutions is clear.

The cohort's focus aligns perfectly with local and national sustainability goals. Participants in the Skyline program will benefit from tailored sessions on market intelligence as well as refining pitches and marketing strategies toward potential American customers. Regarding the Skyline program, SACCNY’s President, Anna Throne-Holst stated, “We received an impressive number of applications for the Skyline program, and we are thrilled to have selected such a strong group of innovative companies.“

Sofie Fjellgren, Business Developer International Markets at the Swedish Energy Agency, added, “New York State has set an impressive clean energy agenda, and we see that there's a real opportunity for Swedish companies to take part in this transition and help accelerate the decarbonization of New York’s buildings.

The cohort aims to address some of the most pressing issues facing property owners and developers.“ Kristin Barbato, Founder & CEO of Build Edison, commented, “It’s an honor for Build Edison to work with such innovative companies and seasoned entrepreneurs who are making an impact on the built environment. Our team looks forward to supporting their expansion to the US, and specifically to NYC, this fall during New York Climate Week.”
