In the center, a white rectangle contains black text that reads 'Lucia Luncheon' and 'Lucia Trade & Innovation Award' with a decorative line and star symbol between the lines.

The Lucia Trade & Innovation Award was celebrated at the historic Union Club in New York, bringing together members and guests for a cherished Swedish tradition featuring the iconic Julbord, a St. Lucia Procession, and the 30th presentation of the award.

Established in 1987, the Lucia Trade Award commemorates the 350th anniversary of the arrival of the first Swedish immigrants in the United States and honors the enduring friendship between Sweden and the U.S. Each year, the award recognizes an individual or company that has made a significant contribution to strengthening transatlantic trade, innovation, and economic cooperation, reflecting the philosophy of peace through trade.

After nearly a decade-long pause, the award returned in 2025 with a renewed focus on innovation. Renamed the Lucia Trade & Innovation Award, it highlights Sweden’s global leadership in innovation and its impact on shaping future industries.

The 30th Lucia Trade & Innovation Award was proudly presented to Spotify, recognizing the company’s transformative influence on the global music and audio industry and its role in advancing Swedish innovation on the world stage.

We sincerely thank all participants, partners, and attendees for contributing to a memorable evening.
